The Venice Biennale is a staple in our portfolio of Patrons’ art tours – and the 59th Biennale in 2022 was no exception. Along with special previews of Cecilia Alemani’s monumental exhibition The Milk of Dreams and the international pavilions, LEAP Patrons met with artists and curators at the Biennale, and enjoyed an immersion into the city’s astonishing heritage of art history, culture and cuisine on what an unforgettably well-rounded tour.

The many highlights included a tour of Latifah Echakhah’s exhibition at the Swiss Pavilion, led by curator Francesco Stocchi; Bosco Sodi’s presentation at the Palazzo Vendramin Grimani, guided by Boris Vervoordt and Annemie De Maeyer; and a private invitation by glass master Adriano Berengo to visit his studio on the island of Murano. We were also honoured to be guided by curator Sir Norman Rosenthal through Raqib Shaw’s exhibition Palazzo della Memoria at Galleria Internazionale d’Arte Moderna; and to be received by Udo Kittelmann, Director of Fondazione Prada, at his exhibition Human Brains.
